WHAT IS COME TEACH WITH ME?

Are you an experienced teacher?  If so, then you have an opportunity to invite someone to join you as a co-teaching partner or assistant – and then pass onto that person many valuable lessons about the ministry of teaching and about faithful service.

Your co-teaching partner could be:

  • A prospective future teacher that you want to train with teaching skills
  • A church member that you are discipling or would like to disciple
  • A lay-person whom you want to encourage to get involved in ministry
  • A believer (possibly even a teenager) whom you would like to strengthen in their relationship with God
  • Another experienced teacher whom you would like to partner with to create better lessons

Come Teach with Me Ministries can help you recruit and work with a co-teacher (as a trainee, a disciple, or an assistant).  Our resources include:

  • Books (and other Materials)
  • Personal Consultations
  • Seminars

The Come Teach with Me program is very flexible.  Its procedures are easily adaptable whether you are working with a trainee, a disciple, or a teaching assistant.  The program does not dictate any particular method of teaching.  It works with any teaching style, any age of students, and any curriculum.

Come Teach with Me is not designed for implementation as an official church program.  It requires no administrative infrastructure, no large gatherings, and no training sessions in teaching methodologies.  Its procedures have been built around the actions of the lead teacher who works independently with the co-teaching partner.  They, of course, will function under the authority of the church leaders.
